Synopsis

Ah-Hee wasn’t planning on becoming a zombie from the start. All she wanted was to take on a new challenge to work on her acting skills. However, as time went by, she realized that she was only cast as a zombie and promised herself that she would never play zombie again… Eventually, she ends up heading back to the set as a zombie…

Director's Note

Due to the rising popularity of creature features, movie productions began casting choreographers on set, and a growing number of actors have been cast to play the zombie role. Though, in some ways, they are the ‘main characters’ to the plot, the reality is that they are simply the backdrop to the movie. I’ve seen many actors grow skeptical of their careers after watching themselves growling and hissing on camera. I wanted to make known that these zombies are real ‘actors’ and allow them to speak their lines rather than growl them. But above all, I wanted to shed light on the backstories of these overshadowed individuals.
