Synopsis
The director’s father who did not know how to use a computer left her an autobiography via e-mail. It has his whole life through many notable events such as the Korean War, the Vietnam War, 88’s Seoul Olympic, New Town Development, etc. The director reflects life and generation of a man who lived as a name of ‘Father’.
Director's Note
The life of a man bearing the name ‘Father’- specifically, reconstructing his biography through family events within Korean modern day history. This documentary proposes to look back on that form of existence given the name ‘father’, the father of ‘patriarchy’, and on the reason for it. Also, reflecting on my family’s history and scars through my father’s life.
