Synopsis

 

A hot summer day. Jeonga is selling a used stroller at a low price, which a poor young mom Jieun needs badly. Jeonga was going to sell it to Jieun, but on the way to meet her, she gives it away to an old woman who is picking scrap paper for living. Jieun goes after the old woman and gets a new offer from her. Sometimes, someone’s good intention becomes a misfortune to someone else - Jieun is now making a decision.

Director's Note

 

At times, poverty forces us to make an immoral choice. In some cases, the choice produces violence. Most often, the violence flows from the weak to the weaker. Through this movie, I wanted to address the choices that poverty forces upon us and the tragic consequences that resulting violence creates.
