Synopsis

A flight departing from Incheon to New York JFK is cancelled due to engine problems. The passengers bound to the replacement flight following day are staying at a layover hotel provided by the airline.

During the unexpected stay at the same hotel, they experience anything but expected – a surprising encounter, unwanted cutoff of a relationship, and so on. This is a story of three lives, which look back on their own past during the temporary overnight stay.

Director's Note

What is a layover? That refers to a temporary stay.

An unexpected night at a layover hotel is like a reflection from human life in general.

That is a metaphor to life of human being.

Everyone plans their own life. There are long-term plans for important future life events as well as brief and short-term plans. Nevertheless, it does not take long before we learn that life does not go on as planned like a building is finished as the floor plan or blueprint has indicated.
