Synopsis

For 42 years from 1956 to 1997, 600 young students who were Korean residents in Japan visited their motherland every summer to play baseball. They were the student baseball team of Korean residents in Japan. Until 1997, they went to the finals three times of Korea high school baseball championship in 1974, 1982, and 1984.
The year of 1982 marks the launching of Korean professional baseball. The members of the 1982 team would now have become middle-aged men making a living. The documentary production team embarks on a journey to find those players who were mainly from Osaka, Japan. The production team makes a plan to find those players and present them as the first ball thrower at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, the mecca for Korean baseball. Would the members of the student baseball team of Korean residents in Japan agree to their re-visit to the motherland? However, despite the documentary production team's efforts to properly record their contributions in the history of Korean baseball, the team is faced with a serious crisis.
